Mary Kay question?

I guess you could call me one of those people seeking a way out of 9-5. I have children and I have to devote more time to them, so I was thinking of getting involved with Mary Kay. I know that with any company takes a while to start and make a profit. Is it really possible to be so successful as they say? And is that the same concept as other mlm companies where people register and then create a residual income? I like Mary Kay products that is why I have considered. Just do not want to get into something I can not finish. Any words of advice and expertise are welcome! I am a driven person and I get the concept of "hitting pavement "But I had questions. HELP:)
